Important!: Truck won't start post motor swap

Hey guys, I recently finished my Cammed 6.0 swap. However, the starter won't engage the flywheel lol i tried both the 4.8 and 6.0 starter and it's the same deal. Maybe it's s wiring issue like a misplaced ground? Any input is appreciated

Probably a ground, I'll try and post the vid again. Should be the same flywheel since the 4l60/4l65 are the same

If the starter isn't spinning fast enough it won't engage... thinking it may be ground related like others have said.

Is the flexplate backwards?


The raised converter pads should be facing the converter. Also verify the converter is seated in the pump ( hopefully not that with the trans bolted tight ).

I got it started a few hours ago, turned out that the ground that went from the negative battery cable to the block was disconnected :rofljest: Thanks for the help guys!
