Tow mirrors?

I've been tossing around the idea of putting tow mirrors on my truck and wanted to hear some of your guy's opinions.
Here's the truck since its not very well known on here

I think it's tall/wide enough to pull them off alright. It's got 9 inches of lift and x12s with spacers.

How much could I expect to have them smoothed and painted if I went that route with them?

It could pull em off easy. Probably $100-$200 to smooth and paint. Would be cheaper to smooth your self, or not paint them.

But in all seriousness, you're def tall and wide enough. I think it will look great with tows.

haha emblem is staying, makes it a little different and ties the green lights on the inside together.

Ive been looking on ebay and found kool vues for about 160. Anyone recomend something different?

I had the Kool Vues on my truck, not bad at all for the money. Got the heated/power/LED signal on sale for like 180 from discount auto mirrors. The only real negative is that the "glass" isn't glass, it's I guess plastic, so at highway speeds they shake a decent amount. But that was my only gripe about them, would definitely buy them again

Yeah the ones im looking at are heated/power. I dont have factory turn signals so, correct me if im wrong, i cant run tows with the turns in them

Yeah since yours is 02 you'd have to do some wiring to get those, I forget what all is involved. 03+ is just plug and play whether you had them originally or not
