Anyone have one? Which one did you get?

I'm looking at just saying screw it and buying the Rough Country one. We should have a loaner program, it seems like someone is always looking for the tool. I don't feel safe renting a jaw puller, I'd rather have the piece of mind using the correct tool for the job.

Nobody around here rents them so I just rent a ball joint press from vatozone and it works fine

There's so many people saying "DON'T USE ANYTHING BUT..." that its got me all screwed up. Maybe I'll just rent a BJ tool /7 ton jaw puller and let one of my buddies under the truck

i use a big ass 2 jaw puller or crank the bar up all the way and hold it in place with a big c clap.

My truck is too low that even on jack stands I don't have enough ground clearance to get all the way under it but I just use the ball joint press and it works great for me

Used a big 2 jaw puller w front end up and wheels off, just take your time watching the jaws. I used a long ratchet w extension so I wasn't up under it. If still nervous, set your jaws and wrap them with a few rounds of duct tape so they can't open

I've always used a ball joint press. Biggest thing is to be careful if you are installing lift keys. If you are putting in or taking out stock there's nothing to it.

I've used the ball joint press on 4-5 trucks now, works like a charm. Just watch it as you're cranking on it so it doesn't slip off, just gotta stiff arm it to keep it still. Nothing to it

Sounds like the consensus is either buy the tool or rent a BJ press. I'll check around locally, I'm sure there's a store that's got the press. Thanks men.
