Well the white truck is gone and I picked this 2016 Silverado up, single cab 5.3L with just about everything you can get in a single cab
Plans are

4/6 or 4/7 drop on 24s with some basic mods to clean it up and then just drive the shot out of it and enjoy it

Already have windows tinted 5% on back glass and 20% on the doors, LEDs in reverse lights and license plate.

Drop will be going on in the next couple weeks as I'm waiting on the spindles to come in

I approve. Love it already

Thanks man. It's a big change from the crew cab but I've always wanted one for some reason.

Ps any help from the lowered guys is appreciated as this is my first time stepping over to the dark side

The 16s are new to me in regards to how they sit, but 4/7 should be adequate.

And lowered trucks love go fast parts, so take a leaf out of James' book and just order the procharger now.

That thought has crossed my mind more than once....

If it's like nnbs in the rear. The driver side leaf spring is a pain to remove due to the fuel tank being in the way of the front bolt of the leaf. Drop the rear an have it hanging. Completely remove passenger side leaf. Basically have to pull the rear end as far to the passenger side an turn it to rear of the driver side to pivot it to go on top of the leaf spring. That in itself is hard to keep balanced on a jack an move. Have help with it. I jus did it by myself an it took forever having to reset jackstands every few inches. Lol.

Thanks man. I've got a buddy who sold me his strut and shocks that has done a few flip kits that's going to help me for some pizza and beer (pic of said friends truck to show the new height of mine)

That rack tho. Lol. It'll look good. Here's a pic of mine twisted to the passenger side so I could move the driver leaf

Were you impressed with the 5.3? I drove a 16 the other day and was not impressed. I feel like my 5.3 had more power even with the heavy 305s

It's got a good amount of power, I know it needs a tune terribly to clean up the shifting.. Put this is a single cab so I'm sure a crew cab may feel more sluggish

Def needs a tune. I'm surprised you didn't get a 6.2

What do they offer it in. Do they even offer it in a double cab? Or any package below ltz??

live from the gutter trash.

I'm sure you can order one or find one on a lot somewhere that's not an ltz but most of the ones I've seen are ccsb ltz
