Okay long story short brand new 350 with 350hp brand new tranny in a 2 door Tahoe with 6 inches of lift on 33s. I went on my first long trip with the truck which was only 40 miles from my shop to my house and it struggled to get up hills it down shifted like it was supposed too but it was still a struggle. I am throwing o2 codes but that would just make me run rich which it is doing. What are other options? It still has factory gears but that shouldn't matter being as I only put 33s on it. Its a 94 Tahoe.

If it's running really really rich cuz of the o2s, that would make it feel like it's struggling. Is it still TBI? The gears certainly don't help, being 3.42s. My old truck had to work pretty hard on 33s with 3.42s up hills (05 Z71 5.3). I'd try to find a set of stock sized tires to roll around on and see how it feels and rule everything out until you decide it's just the gearing

I don't know if this will help, but I had a 97 2 door that used to have issues. I could cruise down the highway and as soon as I hit a hill it would slow down. I couldn't mash the gas because it would almost buck. Changed the fuel filter and it fixed all my problems.

Mike's got a good point. Go through all the usual tune up stuff, check the plugs, filter, wires, go ahead and get new o2s. Then see how it runs. For what it's worth, my buddy just got rid of his '97 Tahoe with stock 3.42s and 265/75/16 mud tires and even it would struggle at times

Running rich wouldn't cause a power loss really mpg lost yes but power not so much. Fuel filter may be my issue looks as if it needs to be replaced. As far as regearing Ill do that when I SAS. It just seems the truck has good dyno numbers but doesn't show it in the street. My hunting truck had a factory 350 TBI with 33s felt like it had a lot of power. But yes my truck has the TBI which is also brand new.

If you are running extremely rich, then yeah, there will be a power loss. I'd check fuel filter, then the running rich issue and go from there.
