Mine without a notch probably would be sitting on the axle. No play what so ever. Even with the notch I only have maybe 4". I'm on a 6" flip kit.

i have an 06 ecsb on 275/45r20 with a 2/4 drop (spring up front, shackle/hanger in back) i'm looking at a set of 2" spindles and some 3" drop leafs for the back. has anyone used drop leafs? how is the ride? i'm also gonna tub and notch it but I'm looking into parts and what shocks I should go with? any suggestions would be great. thanks in advance

I would personally go back to stock hangers and a flip kit for the adjustability. Especially since you plan to notch and tub. Ive heard a lot of mixed reviews on drop leafs. Some say they are bouncy and some dont seem to have a problem with them. The way i see it is, you are already wanting to go lower. Once youve gone with drop leafs, you will be maxed out on drop in the rear. If you wanna go lower, youll have to go back to stock hangers and leafs and a flip kit then. Youd be better off just going straight to a flip kit/stock hangers now so you can be 6"/7"/8"/9"/10" or whatever you want in the rear.

As for shocks your budget will determine the "best" solution. I would say, if you can swing it, to go with a nicer fox/qa1 etc.

I finally parked on level ground today and measured all 4 corners. The front is only an 1/8" difference from side to side but the back is 1.5". Since I have an adjustable flip kit does anyone see a problem with putting the passenger side at 5" drop so it's closer to the 4" drop on the drivers side?

So it is common for our lyrics the rear to be off? Seems like that would be a twisted frame with the front level and back not. Guess I'll drop that side to make me sane. I hate seeing the difference even though nobody but me notices.
