Did bgray move to the states and buy his old truck back?

Looking good man.

Ordering drop parts this week
I'm going to go with a 16+ mcg,mcg flip kit ,lift shackles and mcg helper bags should turn out nice
The helper bag setup for 4-5 of drop is a bit different then what I'm used to. It actually mounts axle to frame ,directly under the frame rail.
On a 275/45/20 not looking for the crazy tuck look and a little shorter will net more gear. Truck has 235/70/17 they pretty damn short now

I'm going to have a 5/7 drop on my 99 rcsb and plan to use 20" ltz tahoe wheels. I see a lot of 275/45/ being used on 20" wheels. Are there any issues running this size tire on that low of a drop?

No. Just need a mini tub.

275/40 if you might ever plan on going lower. Colyn ran 6/8 on a 275/45 without much problem.

No it was 5.5/8 and I will say with BT shocks it was nice for a bit... but get the 275/40's if you go down near 5/7 or 6/8... I hate that when my susp travels the tires hit fender and so it makes fot a rougher ride.

Pardon me, need to know what tire to run for a buddy and dont have time to search for it on here.

2007 Silverado SS 2/4 drop. Going to run 22" reps. What tire size do we need? I thought 265 35 22 but thats kind of a guess.

Opinions?

285 45 22 or a lil smalled 285 40 22imo, leaves a little room to go lower. 265/35/22 is gonna look small and a lil stretched on 22" reps.

i am 5/7 with ltz tahoes but im running a 245/45 20
its the exact same size as 275/40 but skinner so its even easier to fit and the tires were cheaper. I wouldnt go 275/45 unless you wanna tub and roll

I like the stance of your truck Velzga. Do you have anymore pics of the side, maybe closer?

Thanks everyone. I ran the the two sizes through a wheel and tire calculator app. I hadn't put much thought into a mini tub, but the inner lips will get rolled.

If anyone was curious.

I need to order some more tires for spare set of 20's or trade my 20's for a set of 22" steelies or 20" steelies...
