Process was:

Buy some steel plates 3/8" thick
Buy rough stuff lower mounts
Buy shock stem eliminators (had to grind down the tabs a little for shock clearance)
Get Coilovers: 6.5" travel Fox 2.0's with 14" King springs with 600# spring rate
Cut and weld plate over the hole in the lower control arm
weld lower mount as far to the outside of the vehicle on the plate as possible.
Bolt all the other shit up.
We also had to make our own spacers for the shocks in the mounts since nothing came with them.
All 1/2" hardware, the top of the stem eliminator that goes the the existing top shock hole needs to be 3/8" and it's all grade 8

As of now I need to get the driver side coil over apart and check the oil, it is making the squeaking/creaking noise I've been trying to nail down.

^ this ghey boy welded everything

did you see this?

As of now I need to get the driver side coil over apart and check the oil, it is making the squeaking/creaking noise I've been trying to nail down.

Brian and I used a stethoscope to find the noise and it's coming from inside the driver side coilover shock. We think it might be low on oil.

Also check my thread on GMFS about getting it compressed/apart in Lifted section

I'll reweld that shizzle when you get around to it. It should look better since its not being doin in a carport with minimal tools lol.

What about getting it compressed/apart? Should be almost the same as Brian's kings and he's had those apart a time or two.
