IMO I was bummed because that shit was steep as hell lol I was slipping on some portions of it on the silt hill and the uphill climb. You can see the dust fly up
 
Just watched the video.

That was cool as fuck, definitely would have a blast doing that for a weekend.

And I could tell it was steep in certain parts for sure lol.

its been a fun summer. I go once a month up there so its nice to explore places i havent been yet.
 
Started building a box today. To fit comfortably within the side of my cargo area. I've had the 8" in factory location which I explained and showed in the beginning of my build. It was time to move on to bigger and better but still not take up a lot of space because I use my cargo area almost daily.

I got half way through this before I decided I should take pics so this is all I have.

Tomorrow I'm going to carpet it to match existing tan carpet. Also going to close off the box a bit, take the cubic feet down a touch as the sub only needs 0.80 (minimum)and its sitting around 1.25 right now. Maximum is 3.0

Ill update this tomorrow with progress.
 
Finished up today. Very happy with how it turned out. I closed off the box to 0.90 cubic feet for optimal sound. Carpeted it up and fully secured it. I'm happy with it.

although those kicker subs are quite tough, have you thought about one of those cage's that go over the sub for more protection especially while putting a bike in there ?

i was planning on looking for one today on Amazon. I dont want to run my bars or something through it.

that's what i was thinking. i mean jumping the romp runner with the bike in the back could result in unfortunate events for the sub.
