Here's the new project, a 2015 Chevy Silverado LT2 Z71 4x4 regular cab short box in Deep Ocean Blue Metallic (I know, another blue 15 rcsb from Ontario...sorry Pat ;P ). My father spec'd the truck the exact way I would have ordered it last spring, every option available in a regular cab. He put 2680 mi on it from March to October and it's been in storage since (been pulled outside to wash it a few times). He still has his 08 silverado and didn't have a need for this truck so we worked out a deal for it.

The day it came home from the dealership:

How it currently sits: (still stock besides windows tinted @ 20%)

I'm not planning on lifting this one like my '08 as there are some new laws in the province here that kick into effect July 1st that target modified vehicles. With that being said the plans are:

- clear headlights and may retro in a projector
- colormatch tail gate handle / front emblem
- debadge / demold
- tint windshield
- leather swap
- 2.5" level with my 33/22 hostage toyo setup I kept from the '08 (also may look into a set of 22" reps instead)
- eventually would like to find a different rear bumper ('14 all terrain non-step version likely)
- trim front valence
- CAI likely another airaid kit
- magnaflow cat back system dumped over the rear axle

Once I bring the truck home mid June, I will update this thread with some interior pics and likely with the new wheel setup on as well.

Love the colour and the plans Steve!

But a FYI regarding the new legislation, it won't affect a vehicle being lifted or lowered. Everyone lost their minds when the saw the part state the changing of factory ride height and never bothered to read the rest of it. That portion regarding suspension pertains to vehicles that are equipped with adjustable or air suspension from factory. If it isn't functional it won't pass safety. The current safety regulations are from like 1920 and extremely vague, the changes are just more specify.

Thanks for the link, I read through most of it when it was released in the spring. The biggest thing with lifting it is that I would be tempted to go wide and that is something the police and mto are really targeting.

Yeah for sure, then that's when you run into issues. I saw your other post of about your NNBS... Nonetheless, leveled with 33's will look great.

I vote 4/7 drop on 22's, AWD and some sort of boost.

Was debating dropping this one but I think I still prefer the leveled/lifted look

Do the hostages over 22 reps :imo:

I think this is going to be the case, hoping to get them under it on the weekend.

I'm not sure how I feel about this blue all cm'd still on the 14/15s, maybe with billet grille inserts it would be better.

I like the cm'ing on the 16s a lot though but I hate that front end when it's full chrome.

Took it to work today, I think shield and back window tint are going to need to happen next week.
