roundsy's 08 Sierra build

Send me quad. Ill put it to work. Kthx

I'm actually pretty excited to get back out on the quad as it's been sitting for a couple of years. I rebuilt the carb yesterday and ordered my new battery, so I just need that to come in and it should be good to go.

I just want to race a quad again. was such a blast. But soooooo expensive

Yeah mine hardly ever gets ridden anymore but at least I'm past the mod stage on it so it's not emptying my pockets too lol

A few updated pics of my mirrors that were finally painted. I just need to plan a trip stateside now to get them and my new handles, going to hopefully get a weekend in at Silver Lake at the same time.

Haven't updated this for a while but here's what's new:

I've been making mounts for a local lightbar company so they gave me a free upgrade to their H.O. model.

I bumped the front end up an inch and added RCX UCAs to it since it was going to need an alignment after, F-45" R-43"

Planning on installing the brakes later on this week and the BL down the road if I need it for a future wheel setup.

Thanks man.

I'm still trying to narrow down a new wheel setup but I did order some new toyos this afternoon. Also, headed out to Fremont next week to install some equipment at Tesla so I'll see what I come across while I'm there.

I like them. They ride much better than the bilstein 5100s I had on previously.

Also got the chrome pull installed on the tailgate earlier this week

Tbh I haven't found a wheel yet that I truly want. Everything I really like is 20x12 or 22x14 and both are no bueno with my setup. Of course there are welds and forces out there but with the Canadian dollar nose diving and my truck not being garaged I'm probably going to stay out of the forged wheels for now. I'm open to suggestions but not I'm going with an ion 183, ideally would like something with 6 spokes but gear 726c are the current front runner with all that being said.

I love the stock 20s but the clear coat on them is peeling terribly from the salt that gets used in winter. I'm trying to find another cheap set locally to run withy baja claws but haven't had much luck yet.
Feel the pain. I've been looking for stock gmc 17s and nothing. I'd take those stock 20s off of yours hands if you were closer

I'm either going to get them refinished locally if I can get it done reasonably cheap or just put them back on my Tahoe for another winter.

Got the windshield tinted last night with uv transition tint (ranges from 65-45%). Shouldn't be enough that I will ever get hassled for it but it's definitely noticeable. I also got another 10% put on the back window to darken it up as well, it was 20% over factory prior.
