5.3 bit the dust a early June. 6.0 now. I changed coil, plugs, and swapped cylinder 1-3 wires and haven't had a ses yet.

Amazing how much power you loose when a cylinder misfires.

hm, didnt think wires would have anything to do with it :hmm:

Not sure. Going to swap coil back out and see. Figured if it was bad wire it would have followed cylinder. Musta been coil or shit just needed resetting, or injector finally cleared

His 5.3 has lots of miles, burns oil and starting to smoke blue
He overheated the truck
Your mobile one in the other thread looks normal btw,it gets black quick
My truck has 201xxx on mobile 1
You should have stayed with conventional oil too, synthetic burns easier bc its so slick
No going back now.

Pretty sure that's a myth.

Pretty sure that's a myth.

Way I look at it oil is oil. As long as it lubes who cares. Now thats totally different then saying which one hold up the longest, cleans the best, etc..

Shit pick what you like and dump it in there. If it fucks up due to the oil, well then there's your sign.
