Even though the majority of the build is done, I need a place to consolidate the pictures and what not..

The truck was involved in a wreck back at the end of March, and it sat like that for about a month. Finally got the check from my insurance company so I ordered everything I needed to get the front end fixed, and got to work.

While it was down I figured it was a good time to strip and paint the frame (see pics).
Then I decided it was time to get on that Cen Cal level with the suspension.. Ordered a 7" from Full Throttle, and picked out a color.

We tore the RCX lift and everything else off, and knocked all of the bushings out so we could get it ready for powder coat.
Went with a candy purple powder coat color, and I couldn't be more pleased with how it looks.

Truck is slowly coming together how I want it. I still have a long list of things I want to do, just gotta get the time and money to make it happen.

I am very fortunate to have a good friend close by that owns a custom shop that I could work in. He really hooked it up with the help/facility.

Anyway, here's some pictures...

Truck looks good but want that old Ford.

Thanks dude! That Ford will operating on it's own power eventually, and breaking even more necks.. It's way more badass in person.

Purple is such secks

Thanks!!

Truck looks tits, love that front end!

You would have gotten rid of it anyway, so why does it matter?

Thanks!! Me too.

Love it. Only thing I'd do differently is 35s, or 33s and 1.5" bl instead.

I like it how it sits. May switch up the wheels at some point, and go with chrome or polished. Still run 33s, but maybe 22s. Not even thinking about that right now though.

Plz go big tar lovin fgt :cheeky:

LOL

loving it. Do you have any pics of it with the old rcx w/o bl?

Thanks!

I sure don't.. Body lift was on the truck when I bought. Just never had the desire to take it off.

Had a squeaking noise coming from the the front end, so we took it down and found a bad hub. Replaced the U Joints on the rear shaft while we had it in there too.

Put a tape measure on it tonight to see where the fenders were at. 45.5" rear, and 47.5 front. I honestly thought it was taller than that. Lol

I may have to run 35s on this truck at some point... :sneaky:

Interesting, truck looks a lot taller then that. Must be 33s making it look huge.

35s would look perfect IMO. Im running 35s on x12s with the rcx and 3 inch bl and clear them without getting into the bumper, you should be good with the fts even with the hd front on it

Probably right. I don't think I'd be into the tahoe valance much, maybe a little more trimming on it.
I don't mind the 33s, and with the 2" spacers it looks even bigger rolling down the road than it does in pictures.
I would like some 22x12s (and still run the 2" spacers). If I come across a 22 I can't live without I might throw 35s on them to see if I like it or not.

I'm going to rock it like it is for now though.

Nice truck BTW Jeff
