A friend at work has a HD that had a color he didn't agree with. He stripped the tins and I gave it a shot with Nason paints. Gave Black cherry a try using Horror Freight paint guns. Have about 70 bucks tied up in supplies.

The original color with cleared over stick on stripes.

Sanded all the striping and decals off. Some primer and the beginning of some corrective body shaping.

Hung it up and hit it with Black cherry base. This was the second coat of four on the clear.

After the fourth coat.

The fenders came along too.

This is a Honda I painted for a friend a while back using the same guns. It has since been lowered. Nice cheap car.

I thought it was going to be too purple but it turned out nice. Looks almost black until the sun (or a flash) hits it then it turns into a deep metallic maroon. Thinking about that color for my truck now.

The bike is assembled now. Thanks for the kind words.

Blacked out everything but some random chrome. Not bad for an old Police bike. Looking for before pics.

Love the colour, love the Bike, but damn do I hate the look of tall ass bars like that. Gimme that bike with a set of shorter bars and I'd be happy.
