I've seen your silvy's front end Tony, I don't wanna hear anything about rice lol.

I like. I looked at other tails that were similar in looks.. But don't like their running/blinker/brake set up at all. Where the whole light is lit but only half of them light brighter for breaks, while the other stays lit still. Stupid shit imo

Going back to the shop Sunday. I'll plan on tinting these, 3rd brake, and aligning fog lights finally
 
On black trucks red tails stick out too much imho. And imho if you listen to everyone on here you'd have a stock af truck. I've decided it's a game they play. They made poor little alecks sell it after market wheels for stockers. LOL.

he did that to himself in his mission to build a "racetruck" then decided he didnt want one as much

On black I would have to do a light tint to make them a deep cherry :imo: kinda wanna do that to the subie because they do stick out. But not all black...just not personally a fan.
 
Same I hit mine lightly with vht so the red don't pop out. My other truck was tan and I had black af tails and it looked good but all black no thanks

But the stockers look 976549841684 times better than the horrid abominations that he had before. :shrug:
 
i have these. they do seem a lot brighter in here. maybe because bigger reverse opening :shrug:

I wish those lights were wired just a little differently. I have always wanted to find an led tail light like the cadillac dts/sts lights, with the outside row of leds running lights and the whole thing fills in for brake/turn, but with a diffuser over it so you can't directly see the individual led bulbs. These are the closest I've ever seen to that style.
 
& they just credited me $20 for sending those pictures to em lol :notbad: i'll take it. after i sell the stocks this was like a net $20 mod then :notbad: again
 
Tinted today. Used this film. 16" X 48" was enough for all three lights and a little bit leftover

Just used IPA wipedown, heat gun and my hand to stretch it. The only squeege we had has hard rubber and scratched the film, so stuck with the hand lol got most of it done myself but an extra pair of hands was deff helpful so I didn't have to keep picking up and putting the heat gun down. Films soft enough a hair dryer could have worked too.

They turned out to be a lot more cherry than black. Theres some imperfections up close so I'll have my friend redo them eventually. That's the beauty of such inexpensive tint

Once you get one or two done, it becomes a lot easier. That's how it was with my old subie when I did the fogs.

Looks good, kind of tones them down without being crazy dark imo. What % is that tint?
