NNBS Bolt-on Performance?

Look into speed engineering for LT. I've heard good results with their fitment with 4x4 models. I'm going to be doing a stall over the winter and most likely a vette servo while I'm in there.
Not a bad price. I'm assuming their y pipe would delete that cats, correct? Trying to keep from throwing any codes on me, even though we don't have inspections.

Yes, but any tuner can just turn off the rear O2 sensors and you're good to go again.
 
I know, would just be a plus to have it all work with the stock tune.

So for my money, what would be better, a catback or headers/y pipe? Both are about the same price.
 
Do the headers and y-pipe. The rear O2's simply need to be switched to "3-Not Reporting" which isn't a re-tune. If you were local I'd do it for you for the cost of the credits ($100). But find a buddy with HPTuners and have them do it. I'd be willing to walk you through it if need be. It takes all of 10 mins max.
 
Is it fairly easy to mate up the y pipe with the stock exhaust? That would be my only other concern with LTs other than install difficulty. There's a couple guys local that I could probably get to help install them though.

I've had good luck with calspeed fitting up perfect to the stock piping

Yea, but a bit cheaper. With the price as low as it is, those are the ones I'll most likely go with. They seem to fit well too, just need to ask if my trans will interfere with the y pipe since its the 6 speed.
 
I know we had hell getting my cousins y-pipe to fit under the trans. He has the 6 spd. Had to use a hammer

With the headers, is there any huge difference (other than pipe size) between the 1 3/4 and 1 7/8? Here they are side by side on their site.

I did 1 7/8 from the get go. Then after spinning a bearing and doing the new motor, the 1 3/4 would have been a restriction now... Just food for thought. Think about what you want the truck to do and the possibilities in the future.

To be honest, I think this is the furthest I'll go performance wise since the truck is my daily. I'm mainly looking to do some mods to get the most out of my tune. I don't get to spend much on the truck, so when I do, I have to think it out and justify the cost.

On the other hand, the 1 7/8 are only 40 more and sounds like they would have me covered in the off chance I do add more power. The only concern would be the air/egr delete. Would I have to get some sort of kit to remove those?

This is exactly how my truck was built... Lol been my daily the whole time I just took the wife's or my FIL's truck when doing the engine swap.

ur truck aint got no egr/air garbage....ur good to go

Just assumed I had egr/air cause it said it had no fittings for them on that version. Good to know. I'll keep that in mind when I go to buy.

If you do the catless y-pipe (Off Road Y) then you'll need to set your rear O2's to "Not report" and so long as you have no visual cat inspection for your state, you'll still pass emissions.
