Nnbs 1500 denali to 2500hd denali front end swap

I've searched and searched, maybe I'm just retarded or something but I can't find any solid info on this. I have a 2009 1500 sierra denali, wanting to put the 2500 denali full bumper and grille on. How shall I do this. My front end is already apart.

From what I gathered is the hd has a 1.5" bl from factory to clear the Allison transmission so either add a bl or make drop brackets for the bumper mounts. The grille will fit using the existing mount minus two bottom clips I believe.

Yeah you're gonna have to drop the front horns down to accept the new setup.

I believe what Mike said is correct, you will have to lower the front frame horns approximately 1.5".

It's essentially a Z. You'll have to mark the front horns with a square and make 2 parallel horizontal lines 1.5 inches apart. Then cut on the vertical line and drop the horns down from your top horizontal line to your bottom horizontal line and weld it together. Lol.
