Nicks '97 Chevy RCSB

Been out the truck scene for a while and wanted a project to work on to get back into it. My first truck was a 1997 Chevy RCSB that I regretfully sold 6 years ago so I was in the market for another one. Found this one in NOLA, was in good shape so I bought it and drove it back home 2 hours away without any issues. On to the truck.

4.3 v6
212,XXX
Was totaled but air bags never went off. Has new grille, lights, front bumper, left fender.

Repairs:
Speedometer is about 12 mph off.
Remove all chrome accessories- done
Seat is torn.


Plans are to check all the fluids first, make sure every thing is running properly then start on the fun stuff:

She's pretty damn ugly right now but it looks like a fun project. Obviously I'm partial to Victory Red standard cab shorties though lol. Can't wait to see the progress.

Niice. Dfw. Local kid is selling one that's like 4/7 on 22s. Has nfamus step notches for it and the whole truck is in primer. I'd love to scoop it up and go like 6/9 or 7/10 on it lol.

Plan on doing 4/7 with this one with 20s. Just not sure what wheels to go with.

Removed chrome and stickers. Changed oil, washed, clayed, compound, wax, sealed.

Found a nice looking passenger leather seat from a 03. Now just need to find the driver side.
