newbie from houston, Tx.
currently just purchased a 2014 silverado texas edition 5.3 LT.

thinking of raising it 2" with 33s just to look nice.

im colormatching the front and rear bumpers with handle sometime before winter is done.

my question is i want to upgrade the bulbs for reverse, license plate, cargo (i guess), and front low beams and fogs

can yall help me out finding the best deal for the led bulbs. thanks

ill post a thread with my old rides soon im sure yall would enjoy

First off, welcome!

Second, check out this sticky regarding bulb types for your truck, so you know what to look for:

Usually VLEDs is to go-to for leds, though they can get pricey. I will say from experience, don't use eBay for anything other than 194 leds. The larger ones have horrible quality control and they end up costing you more money in the long run.

Both myself and Greg (Bassmaster);have had good luck with gluxlite for leds

another question...i dont want to do HID in the front due to being a new truck and i worry i might burn through the lense. which light bulbs are better than stock? meaning i dont want the yellow look but rather white

Basically what that thread says is this:

Leds in halogen housings are a no no. They have the color but output is horrible.

Best bet for an upgrade is run some Phillips bulbs.

here in houston i can get the top and fog HID 6000k for 115 or 175 installed...seems i will go that route as it will last longer IMO..
