Some of you may of saw my post awhile back "in vehicles as they sit now" where my truck was totaled out. Finally got my truck paid off and everything settled with other guys insurance company and started the hunt for a new truck.

Picked up a 2012 Silverado LTZ w/ 90k, a set of Helo 20x10 with Nitto G2's, RC level kit(maybe a small lift kit, idk shit about lifted trucks. Hoping to learn now that I have one), and colormatched rain guards.

It's a clean ass truck for the miles. Damn near perfect inside and out. Loving it so far.

Plans will be:
-remove steps

-5% tint all the way around with shield brow and 35% on entire shield

-CAI(have one from wrecked truck I'll throw on)

-dump exhaust after axle w/ chrome tip(may just run the chrome Chevy tip currently on truck)

-possibly Carven muffler? May leave stock if I like sound of dumped over axle

-double din(have an older pioneer. Looking to upgrade to a newer model or maybe pickup a kenwood...thoughts on kenwood versus pioneer?)

-two 10" Alpine type S in sealed box(from wrecked Sierra)

-CM tailgate handle

-maybe CM'ed 2500 tailgate cap? Has a bushwhacker brand on it currently that doesn't look too bad.

-line X bed(this will be last mod...can't justify $600-700 when I don't haul much)

-weather tech floor mats

- cleared headlights

-CM mirror caps

-demold/debadge

- led bulbs inside and out

- possible retrofit HID's or LED setup in lows and fogs

- once I figure out suspension setup in full I will try to eliminate the small amount of rake it has currently and maybe add some Cali lean.

Not really gonna have a huge, detailed build thread as the truck only needs small things listed above. Just wanted to get input, advice from fellow members positive or negative.

Here are the pics taken with potato.

Good start man, if you'll take a pic of where the struts mount to the LCA and the top mount I can most likely tell you if it's a level or one of their small kits

Before and after of removed GM steps and debadge. Looks way better. Next up is 4x4 stickers, rain guards, and cleared heads.

Also this, if you get a picture of the strut mounts top and bottom I can tell you what it has for a kit.

I figured out it appears to have the RC 3.5" kit from what I can tell. What should my fender measurements be for that kit? 40-41" ???

I've got about 3.5-4" up front and measure at 41" with 285/70/17, so that sounds about right. The RC 3.5 kit has a large upper spacer and diff drops. Some have aftermarket UCA's too.

Did a turn down with the GM accessories tip that was already on truck. One of the easiest mods for cleaning up read end imo.
