wanted to say hey, glad i found the forum. Hoping to find the best ways to drop my Silverado without changing the ride too much. Use to be into the Mini Truck scene many years ago. Looking forward to the new Tech of today.

Welcome from Kentucky! We have plenty of static guys who can help you with lowering. Give some more details on the truck (2wd/4wd, year, cab config) and I'm sure we can get you going in the right direction.

Welcome from Indiana. The midwest group here is small! Glad to see another crew cab. 2005 here. Parts in the garage for a simple 2/4 drop now just waiting on enough time to do it!

where did you get your 2/4 drop kits? How are you dropping it? I want to drop mine but dont want to have to do the notch kit.

It's Mcgaughys economy kit. Front springs and rear flip with adjustable hangers to raise it up. Flip is 6" but the hangers allow for 4" or 5". My hopes are that this is a starting place and once the truck, wheels and suspension are paid off ill do more. Really want to bag eventually but not sure how to work that into the budget!

i hear that, i used to have a mini truck many years ago. Always wanted a full sized slammed. just hate to cut it up. Its a 2004 but its in killer shape and my daily driver. But it sits way to high for my liking. needs to lower its stance. Shot me a pic of your truck when you lower it. Would love to see it.

Mines my daily too. I hope to drop it soon but time is precious! I do little things here and there just to keep me interested in it. I have a build thread but it's nothing special. More of a time line for me than anything. Helps me see that even the small things make a difference. Did some color matching, painted the drums

and painted behind the grill. Mines extremely clean for its age too and trying to keep it that way.

Like your truck. the wheels and losing the running boards made a huge difference in the looks of the truck.
