I was brought this truck to do a revamp on the old front suspension.
There were plenty of bad things going on with current setup
Ball joints were extremely loose in the lowers because they weren't the right ones. The lowers had cracks. There was grease everywhere from the ball joints.

The good, the truck has ART arms and fox shocks.
Truck in it's current state

I called my buddy at ridetech I've been dealing with since 05 and he hooked me up with a new set of lowers for no charge.

Had a previous customer sell his truck and he have me the specialty suspension brackets I was going to use on his truck

So I decided to use these on this truck. I tried out 3 different spindles before settling on the nnbs stock spindle.

:orly: nnbs stock spindle? care to elaborate?

It's only specific for this setup. you cannot use the NNBS spindles unless you switch to heim steering and it will not help anything with stock mounting points for the arms.

Heim as in you need longer tierods? Or is there something else? Nnbs spindles have a wider spacing for bj for when u put Uca on top of frame?

No, just heim joint ends like I sell because the nnbs use a bigger tierod opening in the spindle. The spindle is just slightly taller and upper ball joint and lower offset, gave me some camber back I needed

sure, but by that time I am sure there won't be a trade offer, or my truck will be traded or sold. I'm really contemplating a Z71.

Plus, that guy was trying to get me to add cash to the trade as it sat, and he ended up selling his truck for less than what I turned down. If it was in better condition and didn't have PC'd billets, tinted lights and ugly ass NNBS steering wheel and that console I would have really traded. Still glad I didn't. Unfortunately for me, I don't have you close enough by to get hooked up like that...we've been there!

Great work, I am sure the new owner will love it once it is fully done.

Truck has shaved taillights, chrome 24's, and stock nbs steering wheel. Entire interior is stock with all plastics dyed black, black leather, power captains chairs and black suede headliner.

Yeah, was talking to josh over at ridetech just trying to figure out the appropriate ball joints for the 1st design arms or just get the new style weld in cup, I sent him the pics, and he called me back and told me since I've been buying from them for almost 10 years and wasn't being an asshole about it, he was going to ship me a new set for free. Saved me a ton of work I couldn't afford to use on an already quoted job.
