I think its time for me to show the phases this truck has been through. I bought it in December of 09 and have been slowy modding it, for better for worse this is what it has looked like along the way.
The day I purchased it
First mods: debadged, demold'd, block delete and maybe a drop shackle I forgot.
A couple more mods, Painted the handles and mirror caps. Also washed it, I think this was on christmas eve 09
A little more color matching, I thought just the grill would be ok. It wasnt, looke horrible IMO
So I painted the bumper, much better.
Then I washed it, and went to what apparently has become my trademark picture spot lol
Then finally painted the rear bumper to match, I remember the thread name on gmfs "I have a case of the red ass"
Then I decided hey why not lift it a little bit
Picked up a set of bfg at's on CL for a deal
Put some LPP's, Circle d 3200, and 4.56 with trutrac some time in the summer of 2010
BIG GAP but my wheels finally came in and my whole look was about to change.
Decided to do a 4/6 in the middle of the night and couldnt find my drop keys
found my keys the next morning
cleaned up and back to my picture spot again
Sold the intros about 3 months after putting them on, it was way too much upkeep for a daily driver. time to go back up again
the day I sold the intros to Earl
Decided I wanted some 35s to level out the 4.56 gears
They rubbed a bit for sure
Time for a 1.5 zone body lift, no mor rubbing but still too much cali for my current taste
Oh guess where I went again Today, my favorite spot again. I got my truck leveled all around at 44" now. That is all for now, more mods to come soon, and thanks for a great forum.
