My roof rack dilemma

I bought my truck with the oem roof rack missing. The hardware is in the roof, just no rack. I either want to get the oem roof rack (side rails only) or find a way to delete everything. I'm worried about water getting in my headliner as it sits currently, anyone have any ideas on a waterproof solution? Our should I rock oem side rails?

Seems like more work to "shave" it. Some look good with a rack. Add a light bar.

I'm def doing a light bar, but it's going in the bumper

Rubber washer or uv resistant gasket material would also work. So it still it like screw,washer,rubber washer,truck. Should seal up fine.

I was also thinking a flush mount bolt with locktight. Think that will keep the water out?

Hmm, that looks really good. I think as of right now my truck could not pull it off. But when I do my lift and wheels, I think it will look good.

Never knew you had a roof rack too! Love the cross rails. I need to get a set for mine, I am currently borrowing mine from my moms suburban
