This is going to be a thread where I just post the same picture every week and complain about never driving it and cleaning it every time it exits the driveway

Not really 73 was when they were bad. But this one has very little compression in the #7 cylinder so it's not what it use to be.

ls swap candidate with a pro touring look
Meh I would like to be able to not ruin the stock look. The ls would be too much. Going back to stock if I ever wanted is what I would like. Right now it's restored to factory original.

For something I don't drive it doesn't seem worth it. Plus if it came to it and I was forced to sell it the pro touring is not worth as much as factory original restored. That is the current trend. This is timeless.

Also I have the bronco with the ls so I don't see the appeal with this

Plus the nova is numbers matching

you can always store the motor and trans...LS SWAP THE WORLD!
Oh I was going to do that but not put an ls in there.

Fuel system would have to get cut into if I did an ls even with the carbed intake plus electronics. Easier just to build a mild 350.

Def like the car, if mine were all original I'd do the same but since it's not protouring style it will be. Good point on already have LS swapped ride in the works too, definitely should pull this out more and take more pics, I'll throw this up on CGM social media soon

It has to get warmer and all the salt needs to be washed from the road. I actually plan on driving it more this summer.

In other nova news my bil has a 71 ss that he is building after his k5 is done. That was left to him when my dad passed. And the old guy restored a 72 nova before this one. It's been sold for a long time but novas were his thing. My basement has so many new and used nova parts it is scary
