Well some of ya might know me by 04silvy so here we go on the new truck
Well after i traded my silverado for the escalade it was all fine and dandy till i had to haul something... ever since then i've wanted a truck again. The escalade was awesome had so much fun with it and really wanted to keep it but function>form. So i kept my eyes open and this came in at work. Was an older couples and they hauled horses with it and thats about it. Its a 2001 GMC 1500HD which is pretty much a 3/4ton with a wierd name. 6.0L, 14bolt posi/limited slip whatever it is havent looked it up yet. Its got 110,000mi Caddy had 114000 and a slipping trans. This trucks trans fluid is actually red so its been serviced atleast once. Its only 2wd but that will change one day to a SFA so im not too worried for meow. theres no body rust anywere not the rockers, cab corners or bedsides like my old silverado so im super happy. within the first 5 hours i pulled the running boards, bugshield, pinstripe, SLE badges, Sierra badge and cranked the bars a lil. Going to throw my 1/2ton keys in it sometime soon to fully level it out.
