Well I have heard of this sight for quite some time now so i figured I would finally join. HAHA

I figured i would make a introduction/build thread to show you guys what I'm working with.

For the rear setup i went with a KP components 6 link and there watts link with slam SS8 bags, The front is on stock arms for now and a McGaughy's 17"+ spindles with Kp cups and slam SS7 bags,

For air management here is what i run,

2 Air Zenith compressors under the bed
1 12 gallon air tank in the bed
Its all controlled with Accuair E-level and VU4 valve block.

Here are some pics of it as I was building it.

Here is what Ive done recently. I didn't really like the way every thing was laid out under the bed so I cut everything out and started over.

Decided not to run with the factory fuel tank, so I ordered an DBRODS fuel cell to run the factory sending unit and bucket.

Haha Well if it helps I have never had any former training just learned fab work as I've been going.

Here is that latest project that i have been working on.

I got sick and tired of those stupid lambo doors and you have to cut the factory hinges apart even though vertical doors said it was a direct bolt on kit. So removing them is not very simple. I had to drill out the spot welds that held the factory hinges on and then put the door on and get the hinges welded back on. PITA

Here are some pics

first i had to get the fenders off

then i tape the door so it wont fall when i take the hinge off

Here is the hinge

Old hinges pieces that have to come off

Door Off

Old Hinge piece removed

Had to pull the dash to get to the top hinges

Once the old hinges were off i trued the surfaces and taped the door back on and welded the hinges on

And it now opens up like a normal door!!!

Here is a closer pic of the driver side once the old pieces were removed and after the surface trued.

And the driver door done.

I like it and A+ on stock doors! Any pics of how you mounted your accuair with the kp? How bout in front? Do you like the elevel and VU4?
