Khaos' RCSB Thread

Kinda want to switch up the wheels. I like the ss 20s on there now but the chrome is pitted and peeling, one has a slight bend, and I've had them for 4+ years.

Can't afford billets and frankly don't want the upkeep.

Kinda want a drag setup but then I was like I don't need that shit, it'll be a waste of money just for the looks. And fuck driving on drag radials tbh.

Found these while cruising the webs looking at drag setups. https://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Whe...=null&wheelFinish=Silver+Machined+w/Clearcoat

So I used their view on vehicle thing and made a few chops

Curious on what you guys think. I really like the 6 spoke look. Leaning towards 18s or 20s.

Not too bad. I like that they almost give it an autox look. Id go 20s for sure. 18s will just look too small i think. Your truck is perfect now on the 20s, size wise.

I think you're right. The more I look at them and the more I look at how the truck sits now I think I'd be disappointed if I stepped down from 20s.

Fuck yeah dude, glad you finally got it done!

Gotta motivate all the 6L swappers lol. Get Dan moving on his too.

Since I'm not even close to being able to get mine done for Carlisle, I think I'm going to push it back to a winter project. At this point, I'd be doing NOTHING but motor work and swapping shit and dialing stuff in until probably late September, just to park the truck a month or so later for winter. I've got other shit I like doing too haha.

Figure I can slowly build the 6.0, pull the 5.3 this winter, clean up the engine bay, do the hydroboost and steering box swap at the same time, and get it up and running for the spring.

That makes the most sense. Honestly I was pissed that I let it take so long and I wasn't able to drive it once the nice weather hit.

Take your time and get it how you want it or you'll kick yourself if you don't. Over the winter I'm gonna clean a few things up in the bay and work on interior stuff.

Can't wait til you get yours done too man, that'll be a fun truck.

Well see if he'd be interested I guess. Could swap wheels or wheels and tars at your wedding lol. I'll just run the 16s
