Wasn't planning on making one but whatever, I'm bored

2008 Silverado ecsb.. desert brown.. bought it out of family for cheap in 2016.

When I got it, it needed some work. Nothing crazy.. body was straight, had a couple dents and scratches but overall the paint was pretty much perfect. Needed a front bumper, rear bumper, tires and some other small maintenance stuff

The only picture I know of it being completely 100% stock. 2014? dem high school pic skills..



somewhere in late 16 it got tows, a toolbox?, new bumper, 2" level



toolbox didn't last long



ff a year later and got 33" wildpeaks and some other 17"s I got off facebook

by the time winter of 17 came along truck dropped a lifter.. was on the verge of selling it but decided to go ahead and do some work to it

June 18' truck had a head gasket issue so it got tore back down

at this point I was pretty happy with it.. didn't do much to it and didn't drive it much


Sept 2018 got a trans cooler




got some mint tx 20"s





January 2019 truck blew a fuel line.. later found out that this happened before and my father did a half ass repair that lasted 9 years..



bed came off, new fuel pump, lines, and painted the frame

after this the truck kind of sat around not getting driven much. Have a daily that I use so wasn't really using the truck a whole lot. Didn't do anything either

July 2019 wanted to change stuff up and started ordering drop parts




October 2019 finally went and got my wheels mounted on Nitto NT420v, 275/55/20




started lowering it.. truck got a whole bunch of new parts too.. new rotors, pads, hubs, belltech street performance struts/rear shocks, sway bar ends, probably more that I'm forgetting. plus painted alot of stuff up front

December 2019 painted a set of DL3s w/ chrome caps



forgot to add in October I installed a Dynavin gm-2007 pro + a factory usb



June 2020 redid my valve covers, and coils with vht copper.







last month I replaced the bed cover, added bed rail caps



last week swapped the 1500 tailgate cap for a 2500 one

also put the 1500 grill back on, I've since colormatched the bowtie, and also wrapped the impact bar. which isn't staying


that's pretty much how it sits now, I know I'm missing stuff and there's a ton of pictures the site wont let me add

Since GMFS is pretty much completely dead now, gonna start updating this more:

Got tint a few weeks ago, 25 on front two, 20 over rear window.




Blew a water pump gasket the other day, so new gaskets and painted the pump black.




While I was in there I painted the tb copper. Going to pull that accessory bracket and powder it black tonight




Also bought boat so need helpers now

New shift lever to replace that worn gummy old one , got a set of ck161's for $500. Dark picture but test fit to see how they look

as much as im not a lowered truck guy besides slammed. you have made some good choices. I would have the HD grill colormatched and installed. i am digging the new wheels.

been on and off with it. part of me wants to pull the wrap off the impact bar, then colormatch the lower valance. I'm the oddball that likes the chrome up front.

So I've done a lot since I last updated this, and spent a lot of money

2003 4l80e 110k miles or so.. this came out of a wrecked 2500 single cab from my neighbors electrician fleet. Got it, tore into it and noticed it had some water in it from sitting. No big deal, this cleaned up nicely.

Kolene Coated Steels

Rollerize front hub w/ sonnax billet
Sonnax TCC regulator valve
New Solenoids
Sonnax Trans boost valve kit
Sonnax Imidized checkballs
Sonnax regulated pressure valve
Billet input shaft?

Probably missing a few things, cant remember off the top of my head

Off and on about if I want to do HD2

I am planning on going turbo in the summer

vs 7875, kb or trick hotside, etc. motors coming out for bearings, gapped rings. Thats about it

I want to say those are the same frictions and steels that were in the TCI kit I used in the 700 in my 88, if they are they were good

Been a minute. I did ALOT to the truck but skipping the boring stuff and getting straight to the point. Sold the ck161s, added rear helper bags, re geared to 4.10s and added a trutac. Swapped out for a set of OEM clears in the front to get rid of the fog, I'm missing alot of others.

Ended up going huron v4 t4. Kit came last week, getting ready to tear the truck down and install.


vs7875, vs 44wg, 50 bov, powdercoated illusion rootbeer.



Got the intercooler mounted + relocated tru-cool




Also went down to 4/6

Did the Turbski come powder coated? Or did you have that done somewhere?
