I got my new 2014 street scene roll pan in yesterday. I called my cuz over so we could do a check fit install before it goes to paint next weekend.

please forgive how dirty the truck is. i got a huge hole in my drive way filled with dirty and rocks that i have to drive over every morning.

install comments:
1. The bumper and hitch removals were a bigger pain in the ass than the installation of the rollpan, it did go on very easy and was a super easy to line up.

2. The instructions that came with the rollpan are SHIT though. i mean worthless. normally you'd be like "wtf, instructions? for a rollpan? line it up and screw it in pussy!" yes, but the roll pan ends are installed to the bed sides with 3m 2-way tape. that we could not get to stick. it was only after noticing the 3m primer that we figured out that you had to prep the rollpan and body FIRST with the primer to get the shit to stick. a note of this in the instructions would have saved some tape.

3. no light or light hole provided. that sucks and will have to be done in the future.

over all fit, form, and function comments:
1. i was pleasantly surprised how well it lined up and fit. gaping looks like an oem body panel
2. if you leave your spare on, there is a hole for the pvc tube to reach the mechanism. also noted a trim line on the roll pan to fit the spare. i removed my spare and relocated it to the bed.
3. theres a drop hitch hole and an option of a flip plate. i find this humorous seeing that the k2xx hitch mounts UNDER the bumper and would be well under the pan. i think the plate flip would be a waste of money.

for your light go to home depot grab the 90º angle aluminum drill holes so it mounts behind the license plate and hangs over the top of it, then mount a led strip to it. that's what i did because my led bulbs kept flickering like MF, is bright as fuck and has been on there about two months so far without a problem yet

i bought the bolts that had LEDs in them and wired them up to the factory light connection. didnt have to drill any holes or anything.
always thought those pointed out and were just for show, they actually light up the plate any good?

they work really well the only issue i have ever had with them is when taking the plate off, you gottd cut the wires, or come up with some good push to connect that can fit through the hole in the plate.
Bullet connectors woudl work bitching
