Well, I got an offer on the diesel I couldn’t refuse, so it’s gone. I picked this up last night and it’s absolutely perfect (other than being leather) so it’ll stay around a long time I hope. I’ve always regretted selling my old GMC 1500 crew (never would have if I hadn’t messed up and gotten married lol) and this is as close to that one as I could get. The best part is, the guy told me it had 3.73s but when we were reading the codes, it said GT5. 4.10s! That’s twice I’ve found a white GT5 crewcab!

It’s been a Ga truck it’s whole life, sold new at Days Chevrolet in Acworth, Ga then eventually made it’s way north to Clayton where I got it. Got a few paint issues to deal with (a few spots have flaked on the roof, various deep scratches) and needs knock sensors and valve seals but otherwise it’s one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen.

-2005 Chevy Silverado LT3
-Olympic white
-157k miles
-Gray leather, dual power seats, power fold/heated/signal mirrors
-Rear entertainment system
-20% tint
-New water pump, new power steering pump
-Clear headlights and corners (need new ones, they’re starting to yellow)
-HIDs and LEDs, half are blown so I’ve already got them on order
-Leveled (it’s a little floaty, needs Bilsteins)
-NBS Yukon Denali 20s
-305/55/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers (it’ll need new tires before too long)

Plans are:
-1.5” bodylift
-1.5” spacers
-305/55/20 aggressive ATs, maybe Falken Wildpeak AT3s cuz I loved them on the diesel
-Bilstein 5100s
-Lightbar behind the grill
-All new headlights, corners, fog light housings
-All new LED bulbs throughout
-Cluster needs a rebuild, I’ll probably go custom with a trans temp gauge
-2015+ mirrors worth colormatched caps
-Esky handles/tailgate handle
-CM’d front bumper pad and rear plastics
-Paint the lower valance black
-HD hood and grille, leave the chrome grille surround and a white bow tie
-Darker tint
-Raptor liner
-Redo the headliner cuz it’s falling at the front edge
-New double din, box with two 12s under the back seat
-Borla XR1
-Tune
-Valve seals
-BTR or TSP stage 2 truck cam long term

I prefer cloth just cuz I’m a sweaty bastard lol. First big mod will be some kind of steps, AMPs or otherwise so I don’t ruin the seat jumping in and out cuz this sumbitch is tall

Did you like the steps on the Duramax?

I'm not sure it's so much the truck being tall, as you not being tall lol.

Seriously jealous of this find though. Once the Denali dies I'll need a "nice" southern truck to bring up to sacrifice to the gods of salty winters. I love NBS trucks, but with religious undercoating and just staying on top of any flaking paint and what not, I should be able to keep it in good shape, hell my 06 made it through 8 winters before I decided to do minor paint work to the lower half of the body.

Yeah, I could definitely used a couple more inches

Yeah with regular care, one of these would last a long time. At least a whole lot better than a NNBS anyway

Exactly what I would like to find.

There’s always a handful of decently clean ones in the southeast. Maybe not 4.10s but clean. Almost went to look at a Graystone Metallic ‘06 crew when this guy tried to back out on me. Glad I didn’t though

Check out the jambs. Still blown away at how clean this thing is.

Am I missing something? Do you usually buy vehicles with fucked up door jambs? Lol.

Looks like a normal door jamb that was detailed for a sale unless I'm not gathering something

What you pay for it

I think I have decided to sell my Ram and will be looking for a NBS Tahoe or crew cab when it goes. Let me know if you see anything.

I remember that truck. Think you had that when I had my white GMC with 4.10s. Glad I found another, that was the best vehicle I ever had, out of all of em

Mine was probably the best too, Jeep will always be my favorite because I’m a little retarded but the 04 was the best
