Went ahead and ordered me one of these puppies. Keeps my phone over the charge pad all the time now, also, I can lift my lid and the phone doesn't slide off lol. Actually, if I don't peel the phone off of it, and I try to just lift it straight up, it'll pull the rubber up out of the tray lol.

That's a really good write-up, I've thought about similar in my truck although the aftermarket Iphone chargers for Qi kinda suck.
Do they have to be iPhone specific? I thought they'd work with any QI capable phone? I could see Apple making it Apple specific though. Bastards.

QI wireless chargers will charge any phone that has wireless charging capability. Galaxy S8's should have said ability. The process to do this on a truck with a full console is somewhat different, such as with the lid construction. If you have a jump seat like mine however, follow this and it will work. It is hands down one of my favourite mods I've done to any vehicle I've owned lol. Well, between that and lowering my truck, damn thing is so much more fun to drive.
