It'll definitely piss you off, I was looking at 2013's with like 18-25K miles on the used lot the other day with cracks. My new one is in the middle above the radio. Will try and get pics.
I need to inspect mine closely, so far no cracks. 34k miles

Called GM about mine last week they called local dealership and gave them the go ahead to fix it for free
Do you have that number? I have heard that the 07-08's are hard as shit to get fixed by them though. My wifes suburbans is horrible.

Never once have used armorall on this truck and I've owned it since new, use to use a light mist of water and a rag. Have use Adams interior cleaner on it 3-4 times and have conditioned it with their conditioner.
Never pressed the issue with getting mine replaced, contacted GM once but seemed like they didn't want to do much with mine being during the bailout years.
313 556 5000 - I think that's the number I called. I just googled GM customer service. In researching, I've heard people say they wouldn't fix theirs or they only offered to pay a certain amount, or in some cases offered a rebate towards a new GM vehicle. I don't know if I got lucky or they've decided to fix them now but I figured it was worth a shot to ask. Kindness goes a long way but Let them know it's a safety concern with dash fragments potentially popping the air bag.
I have the typical 1 by the air bag. I have 3 by the driver side a pillar. Not bad yet but I'm sure it won't be long

13 model tahoe with 58k, no cracks yet. Every one I looked at before had multiple ones, one LTZ dash was busted up so bad and the center literally bounced up and down while driving down the road.
The dash in my vmax is fucking shot. Dennis got me another dash to go in it but ive been too lazy to mess with fixing the small crack it has and painting it black. Hopefully ill get it done soon.

My dads 08 vmax has just over 100k and the dash is fine still, does it seem to happen more in trucks with darker interiors since they generally get hotter sitting in the sun?
