bringing this back from the dead.

Gonna call raceline today,

How Moiser gave me this info and asked me to confirm if the info is right

Stock axles are 33 5/8 overall length
30 spline
3.060 brake hub

Can anyone confirm this is the right info for the stock axles?

Think im gonna cut at 2.25" - which should allow 22x10 with a 305...what BS should i run4.5" or 4.75"??

I'll post up my findings after i talk to greg at raceline

Talked to Chuck at Raceline

Said 22x8.5 with a 6" BS is the way to go.

22x10 with a 4.25" Backspace. However couldn't really comment on how much to Cut. He said best bet is buy the rims, then have the rear cut to fit.

Issue i see there is this guy(http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d121/iml2001ser/classic07/DSC05704.jpg) ran a 4.5" BS, 275s, and to me looks pretty close to the box side. If i wanna run .25" less BS and 305'sa it may be to much

Also, here is some info from John at DBRods on Ryan's stock axles and his new ones:

Looks like it's 33-9/16" long, 30 spine with a 3.060 hub.

Alright Brandon, do you like the way your wheels sit in the wells now or would you like them to be closer to the fenders? here's how close I got when I was 6-7" static on 24's
rearangle.jpg

I can give you a damn good estimate for the narrowing. Just need to know where you'd like the edge of the wheel to sit.

my fenders are rolled and I might have rubbed very seldom.
for a 22x10 with 4.25 bs and 305 series tire
the axle needs to be narrowed at the least 3.25" pers side to get your stuff clearing for rubbing to be no existent with rolled lips.

the 305 tire is roughly .6" closer to the bed lip than a 275 if they are in the same series.

so that was 22x10 4.25" and 305's?

yea the 3.25" is. I was just saying for you to compare to the truck you posted earlier. the 305 would be roughly .6" closer to the bed than that picture.
