Bought this truck a while back but never made a thread on it but since it's about to change drastically I figured I'd make one to show progress.

Bought the truck like this

Truck had a bad lifter when I bought it so I started work

Blue Springs

I don't have pictures but while I was in there I swapped
LS7 Lifters
LS2 Trays
Scoggin Dickey HT1 cam
Blue springs
New oil pump
HD Timing chain
Tuned by StrockerAce


Then I started on the outside

Zone 1.5''

Rough Country Level Kit

Then I put some tires and wheels on it.
2 Crave offroad NX-1 20x10 with Nitto Trail Grappler 305/55/20

I had to do something about the front end next, so I ordered the parts for a 06 swap

Truck also has Coras DB black muffler with Corsa Tip

Started the next round of mods last night so I'll be updating this thread soon.

and its a direct bolt on? was hoping to just get a pn and order the damn thing

did u re-use the crank bolt? what about cam bolts?

Crank bolt is torque to yeild, should be replaced each time. Some people do, some dont. LS@ chain is a direct swap yes. get a new upper gear with it

Painted mirrors, chrome caps, and demolded

I have escalade handles I painted today going on in the morning. Hopefully going to have the wheels and tires on tomorrow.
And still haven't ordered a lift.
