i have a question maybe someone will have an answer to...I did this a few months ago following these videos and another on youtube. The tab that the guy says, "do not cut this off" i cut off and kept it just in case but i dont see the importance in it.

Tip: when resealing, apply silicone liberally around the edge. let it dry overnight and when you look at the lights the next day, look very closely at the seal. if anything looks like it might not be completely sealed, go ahead and add a little more silicone. I had zero problems with my lights fogging up because i took the time to make sure my lights were sealed 100%

I'm not sure if anyone on here does or not but fastw6TA (Phil) on another site has a website where he does them. Good guy to deal with from what I hear. He made the original videos. Ill see if I can find his site...

Edit: here is his site if you can't get anyone on here to do it...

I'll throw in my two cents. I did mine a couple weeks ago. I bought some 3M panel bonding glue and the gun as well. I've used similar glues before and had really good luck with this stuff. I wanted to use this so that I knew for sure the lenses were for sure back on.

I just went after them with my Dremmel cutting the lenses off.

Phil does a great job with them, he did a set for me. I actually have an extra set of cleared lights at my house that we could work a deal out on. Pm me if you're interested.

I would like to do this myself but holy shit at cutting apart a brand new light. May have to hit up this Phil guy.

I just did this to mine. I was real nervous with the first headlight and by the second one I was cruising right along. I used a 3M silicone sealant to seal them up. No leaks or moisture. The only thing I could say is be careful once the lens is off to not touch any of the chrome shiny parts. I must have and left a finger print on one that I noticed after it was all sealed up. But only I know where it is.
