A little back story, I had bought the cheapo ebay black projectors and turn signals, loved the black, hated the projectors so I yanked them back out and fixed up the stockers to match the turn signals. When taping up I only left the bottom of the reflector bucket unpainted, it seems to cut down on the glare and spread from the HIDs. Just tape it all up, scuff the areas with a red scotch brite, wipe down, and paint... I used satin krylon fusion.
on to the pics...

yes some clear lenses would look much better, didn't think about it at the time but i could see if the ones on the ebay specials would fit the stockers..... thanks for the idea!
and i used satin finish krylon fusion to try and match the turn signals, but i have seen this same thing done in whatever color the truck was to do a colormatch look.

Not a fan personally...never have been of any smoked lights. But to each there own, doesn't look as bad as most though

Not bad imo...

But you can get the depo Denali black housings for like 140 shipped. Then when your ready to do a retrofit. 180 more and your done.
