It only took 6 years of ownership, and lots of me saying "Yup, I'm gonna do it, this is the goal." etc. etc.

First off - Sway Bars. I went with front and rear Hellwig bars, and what a world of friggin difference they made. This truck corners unexpectedly good now.

Video of me sending it through a roundabout on worn tires and wet pavement.

And with the latest mods I'm 95% happy with the stance on this truck now. Why only 95%? Because I want new UCA's, a notch (bolt-in or underbed, undecided as of yet.) and another inch of low.

Truck is now at 4/6 - on 22" All Terrain Reps with 285/35/22 Nitto NT420s tires. Why such a small tire? because 5/7 or 8 is the goal here.
-DJM 2" drop LCA
- Belltech drop spindle BT2514.
- Rear is just my 4-6" flip kit now set to 6"

The spindles are for 16-19classic 2wd/4wd trucks, but if you read the instruction sheet, they'll work for the aluminum control arm 14-15 trucks as well. https://www.belltech.com/extras/docs/BBGC/2514_2515-888.pdf

How I stumbled upon the fact that they'll work, I dunno lol.

Getting the hangers down to 6" was an adventure seeing as I had to notch the pinch weld under my bed because it was interfering with the hanger.

Guess I should update this.

Full custom exhaust has been built. Bye bye band clamps, hello V-Bands

This was like 2 years ago now btw lmao. It's my "drawn on a napkin" take on a dual mode exhaust. With the cutout closed, it's breathing through a race cat and that big magnaflow muffler so it's a little tame, but open the cutout and it's clear that mini-bullet is just there for looks lol.

Drove 18 hours to go visit @Huck last summer and ended up in some pretty large tunnels. If you listen carefully you'll hear the sound of my wife being very impressed with me lol.

Really the only thing I did to prep for this trip was upgrade the brakes. Truck also got some DOT 4 fluid and stainless braided lines from Stop Tech. I highly recommend Max Brakes Elite XDS stuff for a budget friendly upgrade. The brakes performed admirably with my full send attempt at the Tail of the Dragon. I started boiling the fluid unfortunately and a spongey pedal made me realize I was going to have to take it easy.

I can't wait to go back one day. Definitely going to be working on my brake situation between now and then too lol

More progress happening now that the snow is melting and I'm getting the itch to go get this thing out of storage.

I had Diode Dynamics Switchback LED boards in these SLT headlights for a few years now, but I'm finally adding some flashiness to what used to be a year round daily driver. I didn't want the headaches of RGB, and at the time I wasn't that big on it. But I'm a firm believer in what Diode Dynamics sells now after running their switchbacks in my truck for about 6 years so I figured it was a reasonable way to drop $500CAD lol.
