I haven't been on any of the forums for a long time, so figured I was due to whore out some pictures and post a few updates to the '08 that most probably haven't seen...unless you follow me on Instagram or on Failbook. Before a truck show in the first part of June, I took the time to build some traction bars and had those along with my kicker braces, and sway bar powdercoated the same red as my interior color. Turned out great and am really happy with them.

And last but not least, this is my beagle pup named Riley. She's a little over 3 months old.

Not really...but after I moved both of my shocks to behind the axle (for looks), it felt "loose" in the back end. Felt like I had a top heavy load in the back. The tractions helped with that some and also was for looks. And just because I could build them ha!

Figured I'd whore out a few pictures I took recently.

I've been doing some thinking on pulling some more parts off to have powdercoated the same red that I've been doing. Receiver hitch for sure and I may do the front crossmembers. I've also been thinking about swapping my tinted taillights for stockers...thoughts?

Those plans sound good, a lil more powder would be nice on there. I'm torn on the lights, the tinted ones look good since it's black, but I'm not really a fan of tinted lights. But I think stockers would be too red. Maybe do just a very light tint on the new ones to tone down the red?

I personally like the tinted tails on your truck. The crossmember and receiver would look sweet PC'd.
I want to add some powder to my truck but I would think the only way to go would be to try and get as close to my blue as possible. I love the red/black on yours...wish there was a nice color to contrast with mine but I don't think any would really go well.

I had similar thoughts too. I'm unsure if I want to tint another set of taillights at this moment, even if its a light shade.

Thanks. To me, maybe red tails would flow nicely with the red powdercoating I have.

I've always been a fan of Zero's old GMC. Granted the tails he had on his weren't the factory Sierra tails, I believe he had Denali tails on his.

:hng: @ Zero's old truck. Should do denali tails. Those look awesome untinted. I get what you're saying about flowing nicely with the powder, they probably would. For some reason tho they stick out too much in my head....hell, idk lol

If I get bored someday I'll pop a tail out of one of my Dad's pickups and put it on mine and see what I think about it.
