BARBER's 2008 Silverado Re-Build Thread

Made some good progress yesterday. Buttoned up a lot of little things. Getting a lot closer to being done.

She's anxious to see the light of day after almost two months...

Thanks and nope, no more black front end. Wanted to change it up. Thought the chrome would be a bit easier to keep clean rather than the paint. I say that when I painted the rear bumper plastics.:dealwithit:

Pulled it outside and rinsed it off real quick. I still got a few things I need to finish up on it yet. I need to find/get some more bumper bracket bolts, align it, bolt it down. Get the billet bowtie on. Paint the tow hooks, put those on. Put my battery in. Those are some of the main things. Put in the new wheel well liners on the front. Make a license plate bracket to mount on the front drop cross member.

Thanks guys.

Looks so good but plz throw on the black front end for comparison. I think it will look so much better

I am not going to disassemble the front bumper, paint the center bar, and swap the billets onto the black shell AND put it all back together after just getting it put all back together this time around just for comparison :reallife:

Thanks guys. The shock project was a lot of work, but hopefully worth it.

I might go ahead and put the add-a-leaf on the back, along with the U bolt flip plates and up front do a small lower spacer. I got a hell of a lot of Cali going on. I'd like it to maybe sit a little higher, but still have a touch of lean to it.
