I have a power leather seat that has a massive hole in it, do y'all think it would be cheaper to buy a replacement bottom ($195) or see if a local place can fix it? I can supply another seat for the material, would that cut down on the cost? Only downside to buying a new bottom is that I have to cut a hole for the seat controls.

I had a hole that a guy fixed, just bonded the leather back together and redyed it.

I have had two companies fix leather for me one is color glo and the other is fibernew. They came to the house and did it. The works looks good and does last. It is one of those things if you did not know it was fixed you would not notice it. I have also had to replace covers and used the seat shop covers and they fit and match good

Did you have problems with the adjuster panel on the drivers seat? Wondering if a seat repair place would fix that too... still need to get mine fixed
