Really? Didn't know. My tuning guy told me it was a reliable investment when upping my gas to 93

Ya running at factory temp is best.

Little things add u to make it run better. Have you ever changed the plugs or wires? Run good synthetic oil in it? Do the vette servo and get the trans firmed up.

And high octane gas isnt neede either. These engine have 9:1 compression, well designed for 87 octane, only time I run premium gas is when its 95-105* here in the next few months then my truck will have some pinging because of the timing added in my tune. The rest of the time it doesnt make a difference or add any extra power it's just higher octane to prevent predetonation

Agreed with everything Anthony said. Do a good tune up and a servo. I ran premium in my 05 for a while when I had my Diablosport and a 93 tune, figuring since it had the L33 "HO" motor with 10:1 I might see a difference. Put 87 in one time to see what it'd do and it didn't ping or anything even on the 93 tune so I quit buying premium

I have a 160* thermostat. It's nothing you can notice at all. Reason my tuner told me to do it is because it makes the motor run cooler, so he can add more timing. Not sure if that's entirely true but oh well lol.
