Rant: 4l60e trash

Fully built 60e
Shifted down from a 30 roll Bitch goes boom
Lost all forward gears had reverse used it to get off Le road then lost it

Don't think it's rear end bc drive shift isn't spinning

Obviously transmission but why would my service brake light and abs be on?

My shit comes on every once in a while. I just put it in park, turn it off, then back on. It clears, any chance it is your builder and not the tranny? You aren't pushing any real power to that tranny, and quite a few guys with more power still beat on their built 60's.

Never really measured it
But it's pretty decent its down a little bit
Thinking a hard down shift binded the drive shift

But still puzzled to why my abs and emergency brake light is one with my dic telling me service brake system

prolly because the truck may thinks its moving due to the motor, but the ABS sensors show its not going the speed it thinks.

Found the problem

Output shaft and rear planetary
Very rare a output shaft break specially in a bassically stock truck with a built 60e

My FLT level four did that in a stock truck. Long story dealing with them about it. (Failed twice) Out 4000 dollars and rolling a stock trans now.

He's rebuilding front to back even new shell
Not sure of cause
This isn't a stock output
This is a hardened on or so he claims
Now going with a billet output

thinking maybe my driveshaft is too long is its pushing my output shaft in and jamming it during a shift maybe?
