Heres my situation, lost 2/4/reverse in my trans several weeks ago. Fianlly got the stupid thing out after following a how to over on pt.net. Now is there a how to for installing? I had to buy new torque converter to flywheel bolts due to mine having a allen head center only. Do those bolts have a torque sequence or steps to tighten them down to a certain torque? And what about the bellhousing bolts? Do they have a toqrue they need to be at?

Not really, Just snug them down with an impact, all the bolts are going into steel too. I had to remove the starter and use an shallow socket with a swivel and the impact to get my tq bolts back in.

There is ALWAYS torque specs

LS1Howto.com

That should list everything you need
But heres the cliff notes

Flywheel to Torque Converter Bolt 46 ft lb
Transmission to Engine Bolt 35 ft lb

EDIT: A dab or two of blue loctite probably wouldn't hurt either

EDIT 2: You also may want to back it off maybe 10% if reusing bolts

Thanks guys! I'm getting new tq converter bolts due to the 99's having the allen head only bolts. The bellhousing bolts I am reusing though.

Yeah they sure as hell are not going back in. Went to GM and ordered 3 of them. They redesigned them and they still have a allen head center, but a 15mm bolt head around it. They come with some sort of loctite on them already.

A torque wrench and torque specs sound good, but how you have to use extensions and such to reach all the bellhousing bolts makes a torque wrench impossible to use, I just installed my trans a few weeks ago and used an electric 3/8 impact for everything, set on the middle power setting.

I was more concerned with the torque converter bolts. Didn't want to screw those up. The bell housing bolts will more than likely just get tightened.
