sup guys, since specialty suspension stole my money for a step notch. I will be building my own from box or rectangle tubing. Just wanted to get some opinions on which would be better to use strength and fit up wise? Leaning towards whichever one is easier to fitup as im fairly sure the strength will be more than enough with either. Im looking at either 2x3 or 3x3 tubing with a 3/16" wall, and will be mitre cutting at 35 or 30 degrees for a nicer flow and not so squared off. Possibly will use some spider web gussets as fish plates on the outsides. So let me know what your guys thoughts are on which would be better fitment wise. This is for my 02 RCSB silverado. thanks

How did u guys compensate for the bend in the frame just forward of the axle? I was thinking of pie cutting the notch and bending it to match the contour. Or does it not have to fit flush to the tall part of the frames c channel?

Not sure if these are 2x3 or 3x3 notches. Believe 2x3
