so i have been struggling with the idea of making my crew cab short box lmm a diesel race truck but it is fully loaded and way too nice to cut up.

this is why i bought the following truck:

2006 regular cab long box 220k mile, 2wd, lbz duramax, W/T

this truck will probably not see the road very often and be more of a project race truck.

future plans include:

Exterior:
cut the box apart (just run bedsides)
find a carbon/fiber glass hood
lower the rear 4"
lower the front possibly do a 5 bolt or 6 bolt conversion to save weight
caltrac traction bars
and some sort of 30-33" slick on 16" wheels
fuel tank delete/ fuel cell install behind rear axle between frame.
hoping to make it weigh close too 4500lbs with me in it.

performance:

i plan on taking this truck to its motor limits next year, with the following mods:

single 10mm or 12mm cp3
220gph lift pump
100% over injectors
s472sxe turbo
SDP t4 install kit
hood stack
wagler performance oil pump
should be right close to the 700+hp mark

if it hold at that power level it might get a cam and valve springs to get a few more rpm's out of it.

want to short box it eventually but that's gonna happen in like 2 winters maybe, and yes it will get fiber glass besides, and 4 link, and full cage at that point.

no pics as i am in middle of no where and wifi is slow as balws

did egr blocker plate and built my own 5" exhaust from a 5" exhaust for a ccsb lmm $120 so that was fun.

its loud and stuff so its basically a race truck already

also ordered a coolant block off for the heater core and a a/c delete pulley

and a fass 220 gph also tuning from danville.

if any one has a clue what wheel width and tire width is the biggest i can fit under the truck that would be great.

ok so i ordered a ppe dual fueler kit and my fass 220gph lift pump came in so that should be getting installed soon so i wont be short on fuel pressure.

got my A/c delete installed.

also built my self an exhaust. its loud.

also currently working on wedding things for in 2.5 months and moving in 3 weeks.

but it has no A/C so its officially a race truck

little sounds clip. it was a little cold and the truck also doesnt have glow plugs so the little white smoke is normal.
