05 CCSB Silverado "Build'

Hi guys, my names Nathan, long time lurker, first time poster. I've had my heart set on a crew cab 1500 Silverado for about a year now. Found this one and thought it was a good deal. Paid $12.6k out the door, picked it up last week

2005 Crew Cab LT 5.3 Autotrac 4x4 3.42 gears
Bose stereo, dual power leather heated seats, DL3 power fold signal auto dimming mirrors, digital climate control (be jelly, this thing is fancy)
At the dealer



Started to de-grandpafy it, removed the nerf bars and "Heatbeat of America" mud flaps

Demolded and painted the bowtie black


Cranked Tbars and tires flipped to blackwall




I'll get some better pics when the weather clears up and I can do a full detail on the black paint

Plans are:
Tint the front windows
Painted bumper cap, door handles, and mirror caps
06+ hood, grille, and valance
Tonneau cover with BedRug
Airaid Jr.
Magnaflow
Corvette servo
BlackBear tune
Eventually 20'' Silverado SS wheels with 295/55 Terra Grapplers

Yup, I have/Had several S-10s, I love them...
My first truck, 01 Space Blue Metallic 4.3 5-speed ZQ8....When it was nice




My 01 Xtreme that I restored and sold to buy my Silverado:

My mint one owner '89 4x4 that was totalled a week after I bought it by a crackhead that rear ended me




And finally my clean rust free '88 4x4 that is awaiting a 350 TBI and a NV3500 5speed

Welcome from Iowa, truck looks way better now already and the plans sound good, seems like you will fit in great here. The S10s are pretty cool too, even for being a TBI 350 the red one will move pretty decent. Don't know what you're talking about Marc.

Yup, 350 is still sitting in my garage and 4.3 that is in the red truck is knocking to beat out the band. Waiting on my car to sell so I have le go fast funds.

Nice rigs the silly looks great what an awesome start jelly of that loaded interior. Sell the TBI and 3500 and buy a 6.0 with a 4500 for more

Nice welcome. In 2002 I graduated high school and bought a new pewter zq8. I liked it while I had it but I sold it to my dad.
