So I can get this for pretty cheap http://www.summitracing.com/parts/fip-2250 but it's only listen for the 2500's and firestone does not make a kit specifialy for the 1500's. My question is can anyone see why this wouldn't work on a 1500? Or does anyone have any idea what it would take to make...

So finally got to wash my truck the other day, and I found a bunch of rock chips in the usual places on front edge and top of the hood, and a big one on the roof that looks to have some rust starting in it.
