Long story short.

Sold the Black Denali for exactly what I paid for the thing new (scores?). Saw a pretty clean 2017 Denali HD with the L5P Duramax and decided to jump on it.

Since the power on this thing is pretty damn good even with all the smog bullshit, I probably wont touch most of it. I've already done a few essential things such as the S&B intake and MAP extender. Also installed the CAT fuel filter adapter to get rid of the plastic dome/cartridge bullshit.

My plans for it now are pretty much cosmetic. I've started removing the chrome and waiting for find a decent set of rims for it. I wanted to put a pair of Novakane 8's on it but with SOTA going out of business due to COVID I dont want to risk fucking a rim up and not being able to get a replacement.

My only complaint with the truck is the total shit throttle response.

get a basic tune and that will fix the throttle response. nothing wild, just a clean up tune.....unless your warried about warranty.

I was thinking about Bank's little pedal fix thing they got.

jk jk jk,

ended up passing on the rims. The x12's would be too wide for a leveling kit. Trying to find a set of x10's

I'm trying to figure out a decent way to totally de-chrome the truck. The grille is probably the hardest thing to figure.

I'm thinking a white border, with black mesh.
