If you find an reasonable older diesel and do some preventive upgrades first instead of "bro'ing" it out, they'll last forever. A built front end here, a lil pcv reroute there, good tunes and not driving like a complete nephson will go a long ways. Now buying a 267k lbz that was owned by a kid...
